I left Sweden, spent many years in Germany - and left Germany :) Also in between lived like 20 years in Denmark. Looks like I have been kind of lucky getting hell out of those places in time! Including getting out of San Diego before Obama took office, as my wife says, who made that decision. Kind of strange, our home language is and remains US English through all those years, from 1974 that is, when we met and joined party :). She had a B.of A. in English from Toyama University in Japan and 5 years behind her as an English teacher in Japan, so we never had a grammar problem either... Add to that her 7 years with PanAm based in HNL.
