Now you have to have his blood tested after 3 months and get his D3 level.

Get a PTH test.

This is not a guessing game.

D3 will prevent autoimmune disease but not at the levels that doctors recommend.

His PTH level will tell you his safety limits. Too low is bad, high is good the higher the better.

You have autoimmune disease if I recall correctly. Your family needs to follow a noninflammatory diet along with a D3 regime.
