I don't know, Al. Seems like there is some cognitive dissonance going on here. These dumb old people who don't know anything about the law "that gave them in insurance" recognize that the law didn't give them anything worth having, but is consuming a lot of their hard-earned tax dollars to do it.

These weren't the people Gruber was referring to when he talked about "the stupid American voter." He was referring to people who were [stupid enough to] become supporters of the law. The people where I live and where you live didn't support the law. We weren't the "stupid American voters" he referred to. We knew we were getting screwed from the outset. That it turned out to be far worse than expected wasn't even surprising to us.

I'm not sure I would be denigrating the stupid asses who opposed the ACA.
