Here are the people:

What a facinating operation......
My entire career in aerospace/aircraft/ rockets.Nobody ever
'made it' without political/military support. From early days
of air-mail contract to save the Boeing Co.to the present subsidies
for airport construction/ATC.
CEO Thompson must be one outstanding fellow. But he has some NASA
support.
IMO if you are young and can spare the bucks then go for it.I
once bought shares of cos just to get the beautiful reports and
stay in touch with technology....
>>>>>> Regarding ORBI:The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is ORBIMAGE's anchor
customer for OrbView-2 imagery for scientific research purposes. As part of the space
agency's Mission to Planet Earth initiative, NASA will use OrbView-2 imagery to
better understand the Earth's carbon cycle processes and their effect on global warming
trends. The multi-spectral imagery may also be used in coastal monitoring, forestry
assessments and agricultural applications.

ORBIMAGE will also market OrbView-2 imagery to organizations involved in climate
research, environmental monitoring and commercial fishing markets. ORBIMAGE will
be conducting demonstration programs for high-seas fishing vessels in the South Pacific
region in the months immediately following the satellite's launch and checkout. Through
an international network of ground stations, ORBIMAGE will collect and process color
images of the Earth's oceans to produce fish finding maps that commercial fishing fleets
will use to reduce search time, lower operating expenses and increase profitability.>>>>
