Scumbag trying to rob a store pulls a GUN, and so does the clerk…

MAR. 11, 2017 9:01 PM BY SOOPERMEXICAN

A Columbus store clerk is a little shook up after having to defend himself with his gun after a scumbag thief pulled a gun and tried to rob his store.

Luckily, he sensed something was up, and had his own gun ready!

Watch below:
..............

That scumbag is lucky he isn’t dead, because the clerk had him beat!

More from Fox News:

“It was really tough,” the clerk told Fox 28 Columbus, which aired the video. “It’s not easy to shoot someone, especially with someone who never had to deal with guns.”

Emanuel Hamm, 27, was charged with aggravated robbery, according to the station. He reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to his hand.

The clerk was behind the counter when authorities say Hamm walked into the M & M food market and gas station in Darbydale Thursday night with a handgun, the station reported.

The clerk told the station Hamm looked suspicious to him.

The video shows the clerk reaching in his back pocket for his gun as Hamm nears the counter.

As soon as I saw the gun, I pulled mine and I shot him,” the clerk said.

In the video there is gunfire and then Hamm is seen running towards the door.

The clerk didn’t want to be identified, according to the station.

He expressed sympathy for the man he shot.

“I feel bad for him, but I didn’t have a choice,” the clerk told the station.

Who knows what would have happened if he hadn’t had anything to protect himself with?

Indianapolis Gas Station Employee Eliminates Armed Robber

Posted at 12:11 pm on March 9, 2017 by Jenn Jacques

Monday evening, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say an employee of the Phillips 66 gas station in the 3200 block of S. Keystone Avenue shot and killed an armed robber just before midnight.

The clerk told police that the suspect had demanded money from him. Police have not released the details about what exactly happened next, but at some point, the clerk pulled out a gun and shot at the suspect.

The suspect made it outside after being shot, but collapsed and died shortly after.

Levi Walker, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene from two gunshot wounds to the torso. His death has been ruled a homicide by the Marion County Coroner.

The clerk was not injured in the shooting. He told police that he shot the man in self-defense.

Customers at the Phillips 66 station say they are glad that the clerk fought back.

“This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to rob him and to be honest with you, I believe he done what he should have done,” said Brian Nordby. “The guy comes in with the intention to hurt him and rob him, that’s self-defense all the way through from what I could tell.”

Police confirmed the suspect did have a gun on him when they found him. The store clerk is not facing any charges
stemming from the incident at this time and police continue to investigate the attempted robbery.

Home Invader Killed When He Wouldn’t Accept Food Stamps

Posted at 1:13 pm on March 9, 2017 by Bob Owens

An opportunistic home invader attempted to rob an older man in East Baton Rogue yesterday, and then argued with the homeowner when all he could produce of value was food stamps instead of cash. The intruder forced the resident to fight for his life, and the suspect was shot dead in the struggle.

East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore said Wednesday it appears an older man was justified in shooting a home invader earlier in the morning.

The incident happened Wednesday around 1:30 a.m. in an area of Baton Rouge known as “the Bottom”. Law enforcement said 40-year-old Antony Gordon of Baton Rouge tried to force his way into a home where women and children also live.

“The gentleman [victim] was at his own home with his family and was confronted by another individual who was armed. There was a scuffle which eventually led to shots being fired and the person who came to the home was shot and killed,” said Moore.

Gordon lived on the other side of Baton Rouge, south of LSU. Law enforcement are trying to determine what set Gordon off as he had no violent criminal history in the parish.

The victims of the home invasion, who wished not to be identified, told WBRZ they were outside of their home when Gordon drove up and asked to use the restroom. They said Gordon then pulled a gun and demanded money.

The victims tried to offer Gordon food stamps but he wasn’t satisfied. A struggle ensued resulting in the victim getting his gun and killing Gordon in self-defense.

The suspect, Gordon, did not know the victims and did not have a criminal record. It is believed that he targeted the victims at random.

He should have quit while he was ahead.

Subway Maintenance Man Shoots Would-Be Armed Robber

Posted at 9:47 am on March 9, 2017 by Jenn Jacques

An employee performing maintenance at the popular restaurant chain Subway in Acworth, GA invited an armed robber to eat fresh lead during an attempted robbery Monday morning.

Police in Acworth received a call reporting the attempted robbery and self defense shooting at 10:25 a.m. from the Subway located at 3305 Acworth Oaks Drive, near Baker Road.

Deandre Antonio Yates, 20, of Cincinnati, walked in alone to the Subway, Acworth Police spokesman Capt. Mark Cheatham said.

A worker performing maintenance service for the business shot Yates in the chest, Cheatham said. Yates ran out of the restaurant and, minutes later, Kennesaw police got a call about a man having been shot, Cheatham said.

Yates was at Kennesaw Medical Center, but he did not drive himself there, Cheatham said.

He was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Police said later that he made it through surgery and will likely survive.

Police say Yates has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He will be taken into custody upon discharge from the hospital.

That's another four recent examples of armed citizens defending themselves from criminals. Two criminal careers were permanently ended and another two took a serious setback. Who knows how many future crimes were prevented.
