The humidity again there is because of the Great Lakes No matter what city Detroit, Toronto ect. It's the same around Frisco. Back in the mid 1960's Places in the Okanagan valley between Wenatchee Wa. and Salmon arm BC hit 112 degrees F for 14 days in a row. The whole country was a blaze with fires. The following winter it hit 45 below F and destroyed half the orchards.
