i have a cousin who used to work for the company that manufactured tenuate dospan - again, in the seventies. she used to send me pills from new york to toronto. it wasn't illegal - had no problem going thru customs. once canadian customs opened the package and asked me to come down to claim it. i did, they asked me what they were. i told them and they gave me my mail and i went home. eventually they lost their efficacy and my friends and i lost interest.
