...hopefully this will break my iron grip of the mediocre middle. Your biggest problem is that your attitude sucks. For example, over a 63 game tournament, "mediocre" means going something like 30-33. If you turn that around, that gets you to just 33-30. Now, contrast that to instead convincing yourself how godawful your ability is... say, 10-53. All you then have to do is pick against yourself. Walla, you are 53-10 toot sweet! Hey, if that strategy fails, as the French like to say "la vee". - Jeff
