That's terrific seeing the US Treasury paying off US debt - and giving the stock market what it needs to move up to excessive levels!

Trump will be able to borrow it back later at much higher interest rates once he's created a bunch of chaos and inflation - or is it unemployment and deflation? It's tough to keep up with his mercurial moods.

We once had reason to make money disappear at our college fraternity - we hid the money in the reserve for the cook's withholding taxes. The money doesn't actually go anywhere, but with a few accounting entries you can make your yourself look flush with cash or broke.

Stockman might even have a reasonable idea where it's gone, or they might have changed things enough since he was there he's made the wrong guesses.
