OK--we can all do some homework--the SEC filings can be pulled down from the SEC box above--I got three of them today--the macro of it all is that SSAX cleared the deck of a lot of debt--declined the refinancing package offered and negotiated with Bain --H&Q put in some of there own money (got to check this one)--will serve as a financial advisor to the company--think the number of shares now is over 45 million (got to check this one)--preferred stock dividend will be $9.7 million per year. We need someone better at reading the fine print to put this in perspective. I am inclined to think the H&Q deal is positive--especially like it that they are participating in the company and their obvious knowledge of the industry. If they do nothing more than add credibility--its worth a couple of bucks per share (my opinion). Now the new COO has to hit the road running--hope he's got what it takes--morale is improved--product is running (BPCS 6.0) and from what I hear performace is good--BPCS 7.0 may be some time coming because there is no need to introduce a new product at this time (again my opinion)--since BPCS 6.0 is doing so well at this time, the introduction of 7.0 could be a negative in the short term because everyone would have to stop and reevaluate the product. Right now we need revenue growth and earnings growth for the next several quarters-- some one besides me has to start reading this stuff!! Maurice
