Fido: Re AAPL I hope like hell that AAPL goes up a lot. I don't think my short position is large enough! All hoopla aside, I expect to cover my short at 5 or less. We'll see.

Francis, Ya know, old apple computer seems to always know how to pull a rabbit out of a hat. I think they just reported positive earnings for this last quarter. I hope they continue to survive. I once owned a Mac 512k. I still have a soft spot in my heart for the company, and given the fact that they are installing Zips as standard equipment means they are continuing to look toward the future. BTW, the only thing I dread is Bill Gates buying IOM!!! Just think, it would probably take 7 zip disks to install windows '98. -John
