PHX is at $.625 and QWST is buying it for $28.5 million of Qwest common stock and up to $4 million of cash. That's $32.5M.

PHX has 32.5M shares out and 6.8M float. Article says there will be 36M shares outstanding if deal goes through. Is this an opportunity?

Kirk, please do not confuse my comments on "dips" as a show of bearishness. Yes, there are QWST bear(s) on this thread -and most have been ground into dust- but I am definitely not one of them.

QWST has trended -UP- with nice volume spikes since it IPO'd, while pulling back (i.e. dips) on scant volume. Very bullish <imho>. The fundamentals are also stellar. So, what this makes is a very cool trading stock as well as a dynamite long play.

btw: I've been buying on the dips and selling on the tops with great success since August. Thanks for the links :)
