I suspect that you know perfectly well (since there has been so much written about it) that that the reason people ponder the labor participation rate is that the unemployment rate calculation has been changed, is politically motivated, and generally leaves much to be desired.

You're probably feeling a need to try to control other people because your own life is out of control.

More standard accusations of others doing exactly what you do, as usual... and not spending your own money to help others with tough times.
