Bob,
Sorry, I don't think anyone meant to offend. I think we were just doing the typical "pros and cons" of why Bob Sr might not be able to do an internet discussion group similar to the Fools. His advice is valuable and I am sure he is well paid (by ABC and us Newsletter subscribers), so a few people on a discussion site asking for more free advice is asking for alot.

Sorry if the discussion came off wrong.
Kirk out

Bob B. jr,

Anyone who has listened to Bob B. sr. for long knows very well how generous he is with his time and expertise. In my opinion there is noone else who can fill his shoes.

Your point about how these discussions deteriorate is exactly the reason that Bob sr. should not divert much of his time to hosting discussion groups. In my opinion it would reduce him to having to squabble with the troublemakers that lurk in the audience.

While the possibility of discussing more advanced investing topics is appealing I would rather see Bob spend his time doing the research he is so good at and discussing that information on the air or in the newsletter. It is invaluable to those of us who have come to trust his insight over many years of listening.

I fully understand that money could not possibly be the driving force behind starting a discussion forum. I would argue that anyone who is doing anything "for the money" is missing out on a whole lot of fun in life. There was a time in my life when I was making an annual salary in the 6 digits, and could go to Hawaii in style.

I have since discovered that it is more fun to go to Hawaii on a budget..you meet more interesting people and have lots more fun. People with money put their pants on one leg at a time..like the rest of us!

Bob jr., let me say I would thoroughly enjoy being a part of a forum in which you acted as host. There are many sites on the Internet we could read and review..sort of like a "Book Review" Club. Sort of a guided discussion where people can input their knowledge and comments on specific stocks or specific areas of interest in an organized fashion.

I've got a few suggestions for a name: "MoneyWalks" or "MoneyHawks"..hey, how about, "On the Brink"....ok maybe I am not a market guru..just thinking out loud.

Go for it Bob...maybe you could call yourself "Robert"..it is very difficult to call you jr.!

Good Luck, Be Happy, and Have Fun..

Greg
