I think all of his tax returns between the one released by the Times last year, and this one, have been consuming NOL carryforward. And this [05] was the year that it was used up and he got hit with AMT on that NOL deduction which is a tax preference item for AMT (or at least, the adjusted NOL affects the computation; it may not be defined precisely as a TPI) -- and the reason he owed all this money instead of regular income tax.

It would make sense. They mailed it from a place recently visited by the family. "Client Copy". And Trump was able to immediately confirm it was real from the WH, where that tax return would not have been handy for him to confirm it from.

Maddow, Trump's lackey. I think it is hilarious.

" I found it interesting most of his tax liability that yr was from the AMT."
Which he wants to end.

As far as deductions, he apparently gave $600K to his foundation that year. Beyond that, ? How much interest to China and Russia?
