As a child Bob was never really liked by the other neighborhood kids. His teachers often wrote on his report card 'Bob does not play well with the other children", and "Bob spends too much time watching ants go in and out of the ant hill", or "Bob is still attempting to sharpen his ball point pen, three weeks after we took his pencil away". I think its safe to assume that Bob is somewhat "different".
