I agree with that.

Although, I don't know where I stand on euthanasia, exactly, is clear to me this was an extreme event and it is uncomfortable to me to consider that this wasn't considered something else. OTOH, the articles probably don't include all the facts.

As a young college student I was called on to deliver a short talk on the subject and I'm pretty sure I had given no consideration at all, but by the time I was through that brief study I was no closer to knowing where I stood on it. 40 years later and I still don't know.
