<<<In fact, a man who can cast those demeaning aspersions upon
anyone for having served in the Military, for having served as a Public Servant and having been wounded in action, for suffering a lifelong handicap...>>>

Steve,

Was Riley wounded in action?? If he was, I would have a great deal more respect for the man. How was he wounded?? What is the current state of his disability.

And Steve, Riley is wearing his "resume" out here on SI like he is someone special. I know quite a few people who possess DD-form, 214, to include myself and literally millions of other people. I don't consider myself anymore special than the rest of the Vets out there who served, and served proudly.

As for serving as a public servant, I would have to know about how Riley "served". I've quite a few associates who I believe are really the unsung public servants. The problem is that they wouldn't dare come out here on the internet and bragged about how much society owes them or attempt to create the impression that their service was somehow more significant than others.

And society will likely never know how they have served and I think they would prefer it that way. We're all cogs in the great machine.
To try and use your service as a means of self-enhancing your credibility displays just how insecure Mr. Riley G. Coyote really is.

I think I've said enough on the matter.

Regards,

Ron
