Ariella,

Go to the topic area in which you'd like to start a subject, such as "Computers", and page down to the very bottom of the list of subjects. There is a link titled "Create a New Subject". After that it's just like posting a reply to someone, the only difference is that you need to compose a title in addition to the body.

Or click on Josef's link in the previous message, and choose the topic
from the pulldown list...

Your subject will show up with a "New!" tag for the 7 days after creation.
