Henry,
Whether or not the J/L process is a cookbook approach depends on your perspective. For Dr. Johnson, it probably was NOT a cookbook approach; he spent 17 years to find a way to separate the precious metals from this complex ore. He now knows how it works and has developed a very specific ore preparation procedure. It is now a patent pending technology.

Now, if a world renown lab is given specific instructions as to how this method works, along with all the necessary equipment, it IS a cookbook approach. Or do you think Ledoux is expected figure everything out by themselves? As I see it, Ledoux was requested to repeat the J/L assaying technology on COC material. Remember, the first numbers using the J/L method were released last August. So again, what is taking Ledoux so long? Is it possible that they want to delay certification until the pilot plant yields results? In which case I would like to know of what value the Ledoux numbers would be. You don't hire an expensive lab to retroactively prove that the output of your pilot plant is correct.

Anyway, I am curious if we will get an official response to my questions.

Kurt

Henry: I could be wrong but I don't recall anyone's post saying that damaged attritor balls had to be replaced; nonetheless, this is interesting stuff to ponder.

Regards,
