Alan, The $5M might have been used to buy the properties and the bulk of the $$ is sure to have been isolated by a walk across the street cash transfer(not a traceable check of wire trsnafer). In addition there may well be mortgages on their properties as protective measures.
It will be quite hard to prove criminality against felderhoff, much as we know by aura and smell that a crime was done, if he and Walsh can succesfully fingerpoint at the fallen one and his friends they might be able to escape. A critical thin would be the % of his holdings he sold. If he dumped it all at a high price, then that is evidence he knew what was up. If he sold only a portion, that is ubderstandable as many principals sell a bit of their stock for cash and keep a lot more.

If he was smart and crooked he would have made hos profits by offshore shorts and kept a lot of his stock to say look I am honest.
