Unfortunately, there's nothing unusual about that. When I went to school at SUNY at Albany in the early 70s, there was a Marxist Sociology Professor who use to give A's to the devout Marxist students in class and C's to those who attacked his views. For those who weren't sure where they stood and just sat there and listened, they got Bs. I got a B in that class. Moreover, there was a very bright PLO Professor who taught a classical political thought class for Juniors and Seniors. He was a fanatic PLO supporter. I wanted to hear the argument so I took the course, listened and kept my mouth shut and got an A. The class was filled with Arabs and I was the only Caucasion in the class. I sat in the back by myself and actually enjoyed the class.
