Not counting the question regarding factories, there were three questions at the press conference that related to IAIC directly. The first came fron Advest and as you noted the response from CA was that the relationship with IAIC was "progressing very well." The second I believe was from Morgan Stanley and the response referred to the the fact that the specialty languages are closely connected with the "regular" COBOL so that the Unicast/2000 was very important. Of interest to me was the questioner's response-"that's great"-he seemed as happy as I was to hear of the possibility of large revenues from Unincast/2000! The third question regarding Unicast/2000 came from Hambrecht & Quist. The moderator seemed somewhat annoyed at the emphasis on the specialty languages, i. e. Unicast/2000, and refused to answer the question. I think it was obvious that there was almost as much interest in Unicast/2000 as the subject of the "dog & pony show"-CA Fix/2000. This makes sense from an investment point of view. No matter how popular CA Fix/2000 is to a large co. like CA it will not be crucial to the bottom line and stock price. However if Unicast/2000 is going to be utilized by CA as much as now seems probable, the effect on the bottom line and stock price of IAIC will be astounding.

For those want to hear the conference directly it can be accessed from the CA web site using Real Audio-
