I fully agree... we'll see how it plays out... with open free competition nationwide, we would see healthcare insurance costs collapse, most every would be able to afford it...

Bob, are you currently on Medicare? If so congratulations.

My wife and I (58 and 53 years old) are not and we need insurance on the private market. We can't afford to just let the insurance market 'collapse'.

Insurance market collapse would be described by no insurance options or substantial increase in premiums of 25%- 50% or more annually. I am ready to drop health insurance and self-insure.
