Not whining just stating facts. I detest the thought of any politician exploiting the well being of future generations and the less fortunate in order to get elected. I see nothing to feel good about there.
Each generation is the temporary shepherd of a country. It is an obligation to leave the grazing land to our down line in as fertile, as when we took up the crook.

I'm not saying they must be Santa. But if they are going to do so. The generosity should first be to those in need in their own country. I like Trump's America First. Canada should do the same.

A country is a group of people who's primary objective is to work together, for the betterment of those within set of borders.
When that has satisfied then the surplus can be offered elsewhere. Running up debt is not what you would call surplus.
Charity begins at home. You can't keep banks, building, business or country up for long if you undermine it's foundation.
