Rachel has been doing in depth reporting connecting the dots of how evil the Russian dictator and his oligarchy is, how often they murder and intimidate foes, how much they are connected to Trump and managed to burrow into our democracy.

It is pervasive and does not lend itself to sound bites. It needs a comprehensive airing and only she is doing that.

This is the most important story going on today.

I like Rachel and I'm glad she is doing really well. But the hype that led in to that Trump income tax story was really bad. If she took one more pause, or held up those two pieces of paper like they were some sort of holy grail I was going to turn it off. Generally, I like her shows, but if she does that sensational type of broadcast journalism again I'll stop watching.

< I find Maddow to be far to long winded and slow to get to the point>

Same here. I have told my wife many times (I tend to repeat myself) Maddow should be on a 30 minute* show.
Most tv/videos have way too much "filler" for me so that is why I avoid most all of them. I enjoy reading and even in my seventies can read like the wind so am able to keep up with tons of info including the 100 to 150 posts a day here on SI. I imagine the learned inhabitants here feel the same.

*30% is commercials.
