US has got some weaknesses but more strengths that out weigh . Imagine living next door to Russia just 50 years ago . Or any place in Europe . Our reality is composed of many truths . US carries more than one for the species and not just for themselves . Sexual abuse of children first made research in American University's . What was the rest of the world doing all those years prior ? Why was Khrushchev banging his shoe on the table at the UN shouting "we will bury you " . Who was listening and who stood at their side ? Who has carried economic truth for the last 100 years while others starved their people . To say nothing of all the inventions , medicines new strains of wheat and rice that ended starvation in India . They are right now off the rails on force and might though . Too many hats ! Bit of a ramble . lol

You really really do know me... Not! Sadly like so many on the net you are stuck in a the now soundbite world.. of course we help each other as people.. Look what we Canucks did for 911.. .. look what happens routinely across our long border.. Especially in the east.. we have long standing family ties north south... When I was young as a Montrealer.. going to upstate New York, Main or Vermont was comfortable.. far more Comfortable than Toronto.. as to smugmness here... I have many more..
