Trump backed the bill......he wanted it to pass.. I'm 100% sure he did at the beginning. But....by the last 2 weeks, after finding out more about it from people that are not idiots, I don't think he cared either way if it passed. He knew the Senate would kill it if it did pass, but watching it die would not really hurt him either. I guarantee the Dems will overplay this and underestimate him going forward.
