Only someone with their eyes closed would not include Venezuela. They are the classic example of Socialism with Chavez and Maduro being their chief architects. Socialism doesn't work. Sometimes it doesn't work very fast like in Venezuela and sometimes it takes decades to destroy the country like in Cuba. But the end result is always the same. Why do you think Russia and China moved towards market reforms to goose their economies? Even die hard communists realize Capitalism is far superior to creating economic growth and national wealth. Socialism is all about how to spend all the money, not about how to lift people out of poverty.
