Happy days ,, climbing in the trees with best bud.

A pirate in early life will not result in pirate in latter life.

Collapsing anywhere ,,with the best sleeps ever:)

Yes, I have wondered that for a year or more. << am wondering just how much energy trump has, >> There's a funny thing about energy in that for some people, there's no energy expenditure when they expend energy. It's more a matter of loving what they do. Expending energy is energizing. His theme song "You can't always get what you want..." was interesting as a guide. I didn't think it was a simplistic cliche of Facebook calibre, but more fundamental = loving the challenges of life for their own sake. Nothing less than identity formation and maintenance.

As an alternative to that << breaking stuff, or just go on extended vacation while the swamp burns>> holds no attraction.

I have an uncle now 93 who doesn't have an off switch either. Last week when I called in he had prepared a submission to the local highway design people to explain how the new roading around the Onehunga foreshore should be done. He's right. They are wrong. He has always been like that. My mother was like that too. The more you do the more fun it is. Once upon a time about 50 years ago, I got her to sit in a chair, put her hands in relaxed pose with the intention of doing nothing for 2 minutes [maybe it was 4 minutes but certainly such a brief time]. I wasn't doing silly hypnotism or meditation etc, just seeing if she could just be for a few minutes. After a minute or so she announced that it was silly and that was that. A more widely known example is Elon Musk. I'd include Irwin Jacobs, Steve Jobs and other widely known public examples.
Big Don seems to be like that too.

Some beings just have boundless energy. Most of us [me for example] have a readily available procrastination, relaxation, going troppo, mechanism.

When Big Don labeled Jeb Bush as "low energy", he was saying more about himself than he was about Jeb.

During the extended election campaign, I wondered about the huge expenditure of effort but he thrived on it. He loves being the centre of attention and the alpha male. Even if things don't go his way, that's fine with him. You can't always get what you want. He just goes for the next thing.

I have watched Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama. Trump is the only one who wasn't a politician other than Eisenhower. So far, he has invaded Syria in hot pursuit of ISIS [that process was already underway, but now it's a plain boots on ground attack] and perhaps to roll back Russia's position and compromise Assad's preparatory for Bigly pressure on Iran which is developing nuclear war on Israel. So like the rest, he's not shy about bringing The Pentagon to bear. Hopefully he avoids WWIII which Obama/Clinton were keen on.

Game on!
Scoreboard so far says: Gold $1250 trending up.
