What percentage of photovoltaic supply stops in cloudy weather? How much does a big battery cost to store the photovoltaic energy at home, ready to resupply to a car and other services?

<<That's why I have 54 kWh of storage.

And cloudy wx doesn't stop all pv generation. >>

There's no free lunch, though taxes can be evaded with home generation. When enough people are getting free electricity at home, cars will be taxed per kilometre to drive, then the free lunch will be thinner gruel. You are getting a free ride from motorists paying full freight on fuel taxation.

No taxes from the fuel industry! No GST, no salary tax, no oil company tax. As tax revenue drops it will be made up from tax on the electric cars. A good idea to tax cars per kilometre driven, as well as surge pricing when roads are busy to avoid congestion.

Tax evasion is fun while it lasts. Getting a free ride on opm is attractive. Eric the free-loader.
