Dear Chris: I have appreciated your posts. I wish and hope that you have a prayerful year. One little after thought to my previous discussion. The power that God speaks of to get wealth in Deut.8;18 is in the "seed" that we plant. The parable of the sower to some may depict a careless sower that randomly throws seed in the shallow earth, into the weeds, or onto the road. This is an entirely new subject, however is the sower so involved in not wanting to waste his seed that he does not sow at all. Of course not. The farmer does not waste his seed but by the same token realizes that all of his seed will not germinate, or grow. The focus is on the good earth, the fertile ground . I can tell you are not a closet christian, that you posess what you profess. Pray the Lord sends you to a fertile field, and I pray the Lord makes you a fisher of men. Sow the seeds and reap souls for the kingdom. Do not become encumbered with negative, relentlessly bound up professing athiests and agnostics that will only serve to frustrate your efforts for the gosple. When you leave their house shake the dust off your feet. Take my word for it, there are millions of people ripe for the harvest, and some in your backyard. The last person I led to the Lord after the third visit rudely asked me not to come again. I later found out about six months later, she came to salvation and guess what--she led her boyfriend to the Lord the same night, bringing another already into God's kingdom, so closely in time to her own salvation. Keep in touch..If you want to know what I am about I'll stand on my head and gargle peanutbutter to win a soul into the kingdom. In Christ.gregor
