Sheb,

This is not good news for Cyrix either. Cost of microprocessors are going to go down, down, down.

Why is it not a good news?

Joe

Robert,

I don't understand why it is not good news for Cyrix either. As far as I know, NSM's fab partners, TSMC & UMC, have placed ordered for several 12" wafer plants. Intel does not have the advantage on processor facilities any longer.

It is Cyrix processor aiming at the mass information device market that could provide them with the volume orders on their 12" fab mass outputs.

With the cost of x86 CPU going down, down and down, the market for the affordable information device will become bigger, bigger and bigger so that everyone could be benefited by the cool software/application in our daily life!

End users would be most benefited by the technology advance while NSM is the one to be most financially awarded for their contribution to bring PC power to everyone's life.

Fuchi ... who loves Cyrix's innovations

You're joking right. Let's keep the posts on topic. Getting ONE 300mm stepper running is hardly relevant to this stock.
