That's certainly a silly post. You're doing yourself a great disservice confusing Vladimir Putin with Vanya who runs a local Russian bakery in Los Angeles.

Vladimir Putin routinely murders many of his political opponents, either with exotic radioactive poisons or bullets to the head. Putin has paramilitary groups beat or shoot their supporters. His quiet-power approach is a matter of public record. You seem to believe Putin murders his opponents as a matter of generosity - something you have no need to explain and I seriously doubt I could appreciate your explanations.

In contrast Vanya makes good baklava, she does does murder the flavor and quality of other pastry recipes like Napoleons which I can't recommend. As for her "generosity", my personal experience she suggests she is more on the cheap side.

Donald Trump and Steven Bannon are great admirers of Vladimir Putin's "strength of leadership" and his respect and fear among the Russian people, which is a direct result of the fact legislators and judges who oppose his will die mysteriously or violently while their supporters are more often beaten - but deaths do occur among the supporters as well.

Trump told Robert Costa his primary problem with the Tea Party legislators and other Republican legislators is they don't fear him. Trump and Bannon know well Vladimir Putin's simple method for creating fear among United Russia legislators - it's merely a question whether they have put into motion plans to emulate Putin in this regard as well. Kill or disappear enough of the Tea Party and they rest will not dare disrespect him again.

Trump has long had the mafia contacts to carry out this sort of intimidation campaign against the Tea Party, but unlike bart13, I doubt Trump has the balls to carry it out. Trump is simply not a serious leader in the new leadership style exemplified by Putin, even though bart13 thinks he is.
