Which is your position? That Stone wasn't in contact with Russian intelligence? Or that there'd be nothing wrong with that? Or that Stone communicating with Russian intelligence about leaks doesn't reflect on Trump? I think I was right ... if we had video of Trump personally giving Putin military intelligence, it wouldn't matter to Trump supporters. They'd claim it was fake news and they'd say so what, anyway. As Trump put it, he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose a single vote. What happened to the Flight 93 / Russian Roulette Trump comparisons that Trumpers used to make? Before the election, conservatives reluctant to vote for Trump were told this is a Flight 93 election. We have to be willing to vote for Trump and likely crash the plane into the ground in order to keep Hillary from crashing into the White House. Similarly, we were told that voting for Trump was like playing Russian roulette but we should do that because Trump was like a revolver but Hillary was like a semiauto pistol. You know, voting for Hillary will blow your brains out with a 100% probability, but with Trump there's a chance the hammer will fall on an empty chamber. Michael Anton, currently on Trump's staff in the White House, made the Russian roulette on Trump's behalf. IOW before the election, Trump proponents were willing to admit Trump was a "dog shit" choice. But now, they're pretending he's not dog shit anymore.
