Putin is certainly viewed as a strong leader and feared by those in his government and by Russian citizens and business owners.

The reason for this is no secret. Those who cross Putin routinely end up dead from exotic radioactive poisons, bullets, mysterious car accidents and some have even inexplicably fallen out of buildings.

Putin has made Russia the world's foremost leader in experimenting with novel radioactive poisons to murder people, no question.

But Putin's economy is in a shambles and Putin has made large cuts to the benefits provided for the elderly in Russia.

I don't see what's so admirable about this.

For every Dollar the US spends on our military, Putin spends only 9 cents on the Russian military. As a result only a small percentage of Russia's military ships and jets are operational at any given time.

When Putin sent his only aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov, to Syria it was accompanied by 6 tow ships because the aircraft carrier's propulsion and power systems need frequent and unexpected repairs. - foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com

Due to low oil prices Putin is now having to make military cut-backs as large as 30% even to this even to this very restricted budget. Compare the reality of Russia's decrepit military with Trump's crazy mirror description of Putin's forces and capabilities.

Trump says "Putin has built up the military again and again and his military is much stronger. He's doing nuclear and we're not doing anything. And his nuclear is tippy top."

How are we to explain this? It's very difficult to understand why Trump holds such admiration for Russia's military. Admittedly, the US has not been experimenting with exotic nuclear poisons as a way to carry out assassinations like Russia has, but that type of nuclear capability is only tippy top to a psychopath.

It's certainly peculiar that Donald Trump and some of his closest advisors so greatly admire Vladimir Putin because there's nothing there to admire.

You don't seem to take any of Trump's talk and actions seriously, and admittedly Trump comes off more clown than leader.

But there's a reason Trump admires Putin so greatly. Putin is willing to take what-ever steps are necessary to control his country - and knowing what those actions are, Trump's admiration for such a ruthless thug is scary.

Your blind faith in Donald Trump is just as scary as Donald Trump's admiration of Vladimir Putin and his leadership style and techniques.

Tugs towing Putin's Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier back to Russia.

Why does Trump think this is tippy-top and why does Trump believe this Russian military is much, much stronger than the US military?
