That wouldn't cover the fuel tax that goes missing in Europe/NZ when people switch to electric cars. <<Electric cars in Washington state pay $150 per year for license renewal:>>

Neither does it replace the income tax, profit tax and sales tax paid by service stations and employees. Nor the taxes on repairs and maintenance etc.

Free lunch!

You tax evaders are going to get caught. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Looks like nearly $3 per watt for photovoltaics in Y2K [= 17 years ago when you got yours]. solarcellcentral.com What a huge fall in price. Saudi Arabia cannot be happy. Emirates better enjoy their brief glory [like Nauru being rich for a few years based on bird poop].

I note you didn't answer the question about how much your photovoltaic output drops when the clouds loom large.

<<My $54 kWhr battery cost me about $4500 16 years ago.

It's still going strong and provides much more power than I need even in long cloudy spells.>>

A shame you didn't save some money on your excessive energy storage. But it must be hard to judge how much storage you'll need when specifying a photovoltaic installation with battery.
