> You have a friend who invested in Rogers Holdings?

As unbelievable as it sounds somehow he has been managed to get into that! I am not sure how he was able to get into his so called Rogers Holdings fund( back in 93), but he reluctantly is said to be invested!

I have been told it is a private closed fund that unless Jimmy feels you have the qualification there is no chance for you to get into it! This friend never tells me what his returns have been from that fund but everytime I ask him a painful expression appears on his face and he quickly changes the subject! But I do know his losses outside of the Rogers holdings and based on the excentric and odd international investments as suggested by Rogers which he followed are beyond my wildest dreams! And the places he invested his money (as recommended by Rogers) are so wild and excentric that I for one can not possibly even begin to imagine and never knew or thought such investments were even possible (as an example he invested about 100K in a fabric manufacturing company in South of Pakistan that supposedly exported its products to the mainland China to be used by the Chinese Military secret service! Somehow that factory no longer exists anymore as the government of Pakistan (for whatever reason) nationalized it and its investors are waiting to receive a dime on every $10 they invested!
