DG I believe was one of Todd Combs first picks under Buffett back in 2011. Looks cheaper now than back then. Annual Revenues about 50% higher free cash flow has more than doubled.

Might have to join you on a few shares ;-)

DG. Dollar General beats earnings estimates (it says here):
finance.yahoo.com

OTOH....

DG misses earnings estimates (it says here):
finance.yahoo.com

Stock down 6-7%. I add to my position.

From one of the repors I read: "In terms of outlook for the full fiscal year, the firm increased its EPS guidance to $4.35 to $4.50, from the previous range of $4.25 to $4.50. At the same time, management also believes that its net sales will increase by 5% to 7% and that same-store sales growth of slightly positive to an increase of 2%."

If it happens, that'd make the stock undervalued now on p/e basis. (estimated p/e vs it's long-term median p/e).
Otoh, maybe storm Harvey will cause DG to reduce its earnings forecast. Company hasn't said.
