It isn't ridiculous to think the Russians would play with the idea. We've done worse.

But it is utterly absurd to believe there was any substantive result from it. Just ridiculous.

I hope the truth comes out but given it would require the major media outlets to say, "We were wrong," I sort of doubt it.

What if Putin aimed at corrupting the voting in only a handful of states like Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania? They didn't need to strike nationwide. Why bother with red states of Texas, Idaho, Oklahoma etc? Or for that matter, bluest California and New York?
