0 major hurricanes have hit the U.S. since the first one came out in 2006.

Also on Mar 30, 2006, the Arctic sea ice extent was 14.243 million km-sq. As of yesterday, it was 14.163 million km-sq. That is insignificant change over 11 years. Yes, it's lower than late 90's, but it's stable now. I would bet the extent will be bigger on Mar 30, 2028.
