The only thing wrong with your post is that it's not true. The rise in insurance rates overall has been slower than before Obamacare not faster. That is right wing propaganda i.e. fake news that they spew out constantly.

And then you make the statement that socialism leads to Cuba and Venezuela. That is another terrible analogy and a failure in your deductive logic!

We have democratic socialism like every other western democracy and that leads to Norway and Denmark and Sweden and Iceland, not Venezuela and Cuba and you should know that! So your analogy is based on a wrong idea.

Venezuela and Cuba were/are dictatorships, pure and simple. And that is the kind of mistake conservative Republicans make constantly, they compare apples and oranges.

Whether a country is a democracy or a dictatorship, makes all the difference in the world as regards their social systems.. The fact of the matter is that in virtually every Western democracy with universal healthcare government plays a huge role.

It is important that 24 million people now have health insurance and especially the millions of poor that have it..

What you should be more concerned about than anything, is the fact that all these Republican governors refused to bring ACA Medicaid into their states even though it would not cost them a dime. Millions and millions of poor people that could have had health insurance were denied it simply because the Republican governors want to poke a stick in the eye of Obama and the Democrats.

How can we have a good society for the children shaped by that type of heartlessness????

What you should be concerned about more than anything is the heartlessness of the Republican Party. Right now Ryan wants to take us back to a totally capitalist insurance world. That does not exist successfully anywhere on earth. If you have that kind of system who is going to ensure those with pre-existing conditions, or the aged?

Government/society must be a part of any health care system, period!

Socialism isn't governing responsibly. I think Obama was far more well-spoken than Trump, but Obamacare was an unmitigated disaster for the majority of Americans. The only real beneficiaries were the 20 million newly insured, but that came at the expense of the 100 million who say their healthcare expenses double, while their benefits shrunk to new abysmal levels. Socialist policies lead straight to Cuba and Venezuela. Why does the US want to experiment with Socialism, when properly regulated Capitalism always works better?

The problem is we have a two party system with both parties being extremist. Where are all the moderates?
