I can't help but wonder if Gonzaga thought they were going to blow out SC, a "lowly" seven seed, in the second half. Based on their second half, hard to see them having survived a better team tonight. But... you just have to beat the team you are facing. I expect them to (have to) play much better in the finals.

While "obviously" Gonzaga fans are hoping to avoid playing NC on Monday, I always say to be careful what you wish for. Sometimes you really need that fear of losing, or of being the underdog, to inspire you to play your best. Just remember that Oregon was supposed to be a one seed before Boucher went down. As I wrote before, it wasn't like he was an indispensable superstar. If Oregon keeps the game close in the first half, NC is in real trouble.
