Electric cars are gaining economies of scale but they aren't there yet. It's happening a lot faster than you think. They will be cheaper to own and operate than a ICE mobile before 2030. Gasoline and diesel engine technology made amazing gains over those 30 years and held the line! They have not gained that much in efficiency over those 30 years. Pure electric vehicles are over four times as efficient and don't emit pollution. That's impossible for your ICE mobiles to achieve!
