I'm not sure I understand. What, exactly, is Cycomm supplying to Boeing? And what, do you surmise, are Boeing's needs for future equipment from CYI?

And what of Rob's litany of questions for Hawk? And WHAT about the SLICE, the product that got me into Cycomm in the first place? Not a peep in the longest time--why doesn't the Gadget Guru on one of the national morning newsyak shows demonstrate it to the masses? And why for pete's sake is the transcription technology NOT incorporated into the PCMobiles in police vehicles! I thought that was IT!

Disgruntled (and, a postal worker)

Jim. I think the market has factored in the Asia situation already and if anything we'll probably find that it will lift the market. It's not just foreigners selling out of Asian currencies but a lot of Asians themselves are moving into US, Canadian and Australian dollars. This should translate into these funds going into these countries' respective share markets. For example, Asian business managers recently rated Australia as the most preferred country in the South-East Asia region to now invest (ahead of Japan).

I don't see deflation affecting high tech stocks (prices have been falling for high tech components continuously eg chips) with markets and revenues expanding at lower prices. Deflation will affect manufacturers with large plant investments eg car manufacturers as they cannot contract out much more of their assembly work and are stuck with $billions tied up. A longer term solution here is to build US Models in Asia rather than Detroit. This sort of thing will hurt employment and consumption but with even cheaper Asian goods on the market then there is more money for everything else.

We managed to get through years of double digit inflation so deflation at a couple of percentage points isn't going to change the world drastically other than to shift money out of property which of course just sits there and doesn't produce anything and keep interest rates down which is good for the market.

If the CYI Asian connection is going to work now would be the time for the Koreans to grab hold of a US dollar cash flow.

2Q is going to be the turnaround for CYI. This share price is a shocker however and won't move until all the tax sellers finish their 30 day siesta. The biggest volume was on Dec 17th so mid January should see some players coming back in.
