Not to worry. I have been buying/selling stocks for 55 years and pretty much know the ins and outs. Sorry, one of my biggest problems is Selling a stock... I used to get too emotion about letting go so I devised ways to reduce the emotion involved with selling and I tend to preach a bit :) Those tips on locating tops of runs do help though... especially when as in Apple's case you don't have any history to base your judgements on. I see Apple has had a nice bounce today... looks like that run that started a few days ago then went sideways is resuming... good luck.
