Mike, I got most of the index components from my broker, but believe the the CBOE and Philadelphia exchange has some of them. Seeya

AMEX: amex.com ...click on Options & Derivatives then click on Index Options then click on Sector Indexes and you will be presented with a list. Choose one, say - XOI.X Oil Sector and click on the name; finally, click on + Specifications and you will get a list of the underlying index components. CBOE: cboe.com ...this is a list of the S&P-100 or OEX.X components, with weights. CBOE: cboe.com ...this is a list of the DJIA or DJX (INDU) components, as well as the DTX (TRANS) and DUX (UTIL) components. CBOE: cboe.com ...this is a list of the NAZ-100 or NDX.X components, with weights. CBOE: cboe.com:80/index/start.html#sp CBOE: cboe.com ...these are lists of links to a variety of indices / components. CBOE: cboe.com ...from here you can explore a variety of Sector Indices. GDAX: exchange.de ...this is a direct link to the DAX-30 in Germany. When markets are influencing one another (like the HONK or NIKKEI and the FTSE or DAX), you can sometimes anticipate a drop or rise in one (later) because of what is happening on some other (now); etc. Finally, some Sector Indices are more-or-less driven by some essential commodity future, eg., XOI.X and OSX.X are influenced by OIL. You will need the symbols for these futures to generate charts. Using my favourite WWWeb (candlestick) chart generator... quote.com ...enter CL98H for crude oil (March) futures. SP98H will show you the S&P-500 (SPX/INX or SPZ) Futures (delayed - but you can click on "Chart", then "All Sessions" and enter SP98H,3 and see after-hours trading in this futures contract). Most folks use this link... cme.com ...to get S&P and NAZ Futures Quotes; note it uses "pull" and updates automatically, if your browser supports this. -Steve
