Thean, for all your TA work, have it ever occurred to you this group should be traded from the short side on retracement up ? far less risk than trying to guess a bottom and we all know that overhead resistance is strong - many have lost money in last 3 months and each retrace up is met with selling at upper BB. Besides, they are in a clear downtrend from every technical indicator you can look at. trade with the direction, not against it. agree with you, shorting land drillers are more profitable since they are of high valued and more tied to natural gas price. PTEN is a crap shoot.
