I contacted MS tech support logon my system to disable it and they did and also disabled a lot in the start up and the fan turned off. She was doing a lot of things on the computer was going so fast I could not follow her. But the system seems to be running fine now.

Had problems getting permission to turn it off but she solved that as well and it was all free.

Edit I just entered Task Manager and Cortana is still running.

Enough for tonight.

Did that but my fan still runs fast. MS disabled all my services, the computer starts up fast, but now I have new problems what services to turn back on.

Cortana is gone after renaming that file.
