Hi Chip,

I actually knew the reference of the "nuclear" option was in regard to the Senate vote whereby following Harry Reid's protocol change of several years ago where a simple majority was needed for lower court judge approval could be adopted by the Republicans and it would apply to the Gorsuch nomination to the court.

Paul Ryan made comments at 2 pm today that Tax reform was going to take longer than many had hoped for....... the white house, the house and the senate all had different plans and no real agreement in sight.

The most constructive thing the Administration can do is to cut back on regulatory overreach which would increase economic activity. And that's a good thing.

You notice that the Evil Villain Stephen Bannon who has been portrayed as the Darth Vadar of the Trump administration is gone from the National Security Council. Is the Trump administration getting into military action mode?

One thing Trump can do is to change things that are not working.... He has a special gift and knack for that.
and he's got some good advisers.... his daughter and son in law are pretty sharp.

Nikki Haley was speaking at the UN today talking tough.... specifically about the Syrian nerve gas attack;
but I think this applies to coming military action... we'll see.

The stock futures are down some tonight.

The June SPX contract daily

Here is an hourly chart of the SPX from the March 1st timeframe

and Feb 26th through March 6th hourly..... all the markets rallied like crazy drunken fiends on the afternoon of March 1st...
